What is the CDC?
The Child Development Clinic at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center is comprised of a multidisciplinary team which includes a developmental pediatrician, occupational therapist and a medical social worker
The clinic offers consultation, diagnostic evaluation and referral services for those who have or are at risk for learning problems, difficulties with attention, hyperactivity, developmental delay and social communication problems.
Who use CDC Services?
Parents, educators, health professionals or therapists concerned with a child’s mental, emotional or academic development.
Their concerns may include:
Delayed development

Learning problems
Attention problems

The focus of the multidisciplinary CDC staff is to develop a complete understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of each individual child.

Learning disability screening
Review of past medical and educational evaluations
Case conference
